vaulting on a 13'1 145 sky pole for while i felt like i was crushing it so during practice jumps i tried going up 5lbs on the weight class till i found one i didnt mush as much... i went to 150 and it still felt a little mushy but then when i tried a 155 i got completely rejected and ended up pulling my left arm some how.. coach said i let go of my top arm first... i didnt see the trainer or nothing and i vaulted on even though it hurt...(didnt bother the jumps much)

i think i pulled a muscle/tendon or something... but what would be the best way to recover from pole vaulting injuries?

(summer last year i had a similar accident except i got X-rays and everything, paid a bunch of money to see a doctor for my arm and all except since the injury wasnt Serious or anything doctors didnt help much,,,).

SO now im reluctant to see a doctor for small injuries but i need to pain to go away so can get back to training for building strength, any help please?

thanks

Yeah, take a break, stretch it out, ice, heat, etc. If it persists, see a doctor.
