Are you a male? cause 5'6 148 for a male is skinny. i hope you dont have a false image about yourself cause i knew a dude like that and he got down to like 120 and was like 5'8, not good.

im a similar build as u, i like 140 and 5'7' and starting to get some unwanted baggage up stairs, im starting to drink more water and more situps and toning exercises. im not trying to lose weight tho im just lookin to further define my muscles. High reps low weight is that key to stayin slim and nice looking for the ladies ya kno.

i try not to terribly change my diet, cause it can cause u to be uncomfortable, but try to incorporate new things like less fat or more water or less calories.

That method used for calculating body fat % is not that great. I calculated out at 6.95% and let me tell you there is no way thats correct. 148 lbs at 5'6" is a normal wieght. If you have a athletic build you are going to wiegh more so triing to judge your fitness by wieght is not very accurate.

I find that when athletes try to lose wieght thier performance usually drops because they cann't compete at the same energy levels, and thier body cann't recover as well from work outs. Rather than triing to lose 5-10 lbs. do some gymnastics, pull ups, 50-100 yard dashes. to get your body used to moving the wieght effiecently.

Look at it this way when I was in HS junior year I was 6'1" 150. Senior 6'1" 165 freshman-junior year in college 6'2"195. You are still growing! you will gain wieght even if you are not getting taller as your mucles catch up and fill in to the growth. Along with this growth, both in hieght and muscle mass, it takes time for your body to learn how to move the longer levers and increased muscle-so you wont fell as "in shape" "athletic" as you did at a previous wieght. Just keep training and that will get you the results you want.
