Okay so, Becca and I have been tossing around the idea of creating some polevaultpower tshirts, stickers, stuff of that nature. This would help to raise some revenue as well as continue to advertise for the site. We are looking to see how many of you would be interested in this and what kind of designs/ideas you would like to see. Obviously interest will depend on pricing, but again that will depend on what you guys are looking for. So to start, if you have a specific design idea, email it to me at bmondsch@vt.edu

if you are interested, respond in this thread with what kind of merchandise you would like to see. hopefully there will be enough interest to get this moving. ultimately we would like to see all 2100 of you guys wearing some PVP gear around meets or whatever to continue to expand our community

(p.s. since Becca already has her hands full with the million other, im going to be her assistant on this one, but she will have final say on approval and such)

Anyone who sent me a design last year, my hard drive died shortly after and I lost most of them, that is a big reason why you never saw anything come of it.

Ok, so my marketing expertise is going to kick in here.

First thing everyone should decide is a color scheme that is going to be PVP's own.

Think about it, what colors come to mind when you hear these names like LIVESTRONG and Neovault? Yellow, and green and black.

If we want this to stick and be recognized, we should pick a color scheme.

Looking at the site, I would vote for red on black, or black on red.

Actually, my vote is red on black. That would be sweet.

I vote red on black, and maybe take the picture on the home page of the site and work on CS with that... that picture is sweet and people would recodnize it. Just a thought. Then also maybe offer a spot on the shirt where it says what region you are from. Like "PVP south".... just another thought.
