I just drove from Georgia to Pennsylvania yesterday. I am sure getting to NC from VA cannot take THAT long :p

For pole vaulting it is worth it to make th road trips. I've slept in my car a few times before track meets.

that is crazy, i have done some weird things to get to meets...but i have never slept in my car before the meet...now that is what i call dedication

I have done it twice and my dad was just about ready to KILL me.

lol. it wouldn't if my parents did not drive so slow. however, my best friend (and my pv relay partner) does have a mercedes...(lol and her license). i'm still just a wittle soph. so i'm workin on the license here. is there some kind of a website that has info about it? i really am interested. want to here something funny? my two friends had to go get weighed before the vault started (for obviouse safety reasons) and one was about 5 pounds over the weight on his pole. he didn't have another pole w/ him so he put on every peice of clothing that he and his friend owned and ran around the track for like 20 min (in 96 degree weather). when he went back to get weighed for the second time, he was 5 pounds lighter. talk about crazy! he had on like 5 pairs of sweat pants and long sleeve t-shirts in the 96 degree weather!!

The next thing you know people will start gettin' naked!!!!!

oh geez. i think i will pass on those meets! lol.

I guess it would depend on who they were!!!! Might draw quite a crowd for pole vault competition!!!! The WEIGH IN!!!!

Fredericksburg to Wrightsville Beach is about 335 miles or approx. 5 hours at 70MPH.

i was avoiding saying that i was in fredericksburg but oh well. i guess that no one else is right smack dab in the middle of those two huge cities. lol. did anyone on here go to that beach vault last year? just curiouse because any extra info would be great.

Is that I am going to the beach vault no matter the cost or time despite what my parents say. hehehe Becca or Vinh that means I need to stay with one of you guys.
