I do recommend that people leave the manufacturers label on in the middle of the pole. I rewrapped all my ESSX poles, 5 in all, and they all still have the flames in the middle :) You can see a picture of one of them on the link above!

About how many poles will one roll tape? I have several poles that need an upgraded look and I want to make sure that I buy enough.

It really depends on the size of the pole, how tightly you wrap it, and how much you are choosing to wrap. One roll of tape should wrap at least one pole, even the big ones, even if you are wrapping most of it. You could probably get at least two smaller poles out of a roll, maybe three.
