Alaska USATF Vaulting Club

We're looking to start up a pole vault club in Alaska!

Pole vaulting has been absent from high schools here for 20 years, but we're determined to get it going again. We believe that all kids should have the opportunity to pole vault! With the aid of USATF we aim to begin competitions & camps in the spring of 2013. We are located just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska.

We have purchased a vaulting pit, roll-out runway, box, standards, padding, cross-bars, and large trailer to haul it around - everything regulation and relatively new (4 years old). Unfortunately, we only have a few poles. We even have plans to build a portable runway and an indoor facility to practice in during the cold winter.

If you are interested in learning more, joining the club, or visiting us here in Alaska please contact me.

It's been an expensive venture, thus donations are welcome.

We look forward to hearing from you!
