Newport OR Street Vault 7/19/08

We have been kicked out of the Lincoln County Fair, due to liability concerns. Since we have already paid the Sanctioning fee through USATF we will hold a vault only competition at Newport High School (right next door to the fair). We will start at 11:00 with competitors with P.R.s 11' and under, higher P.R.s to follow, and the entry fee is $15. I hope to see everyone there.

Will Austin Ouderkirk be vaulting there? He lives in Newport, and he's been signed by Pat Licari to go to U of Washington next year.

Great, raw talent!

Also, http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/A ... ?AID=17437 shows his last meet on May 24. Is he injured, or does he have any more meets this summer?

I saw him vault on Fri Apr 25 in Eugene (just missed 16'), and that one's not posted on http://www.athletic.net, so I understand that they don't post every last meet.

Athletic.net is mostly just what the coaches enter, so you generally won't see summer meets posted unless an administrator is feeling ambitious.
