Looking for a pole vault coach in Las Vegas. Coach Tilley with Pure is too far away. Wondering if there are any other coaches here in Las Vegas

I have written to one coach offering to do a clinic in Las Vegas immediately after Xmas but I have had no reply. So there really does not seem to be any interest there. :crying:

As you can see not a whole lot of interest in the vault in Vegas, but there are a small numbers of us here and the numbers are growing every year. I really hope that more coaches will fall in love with the vault and help us.
I’m shore that there are some coaches in L.A. that would be willing to come up to Vegas and put on a clinic, but if you can not find anyone that will do it for you, I will be having a coaches vault clinic in February and pole vault camp for high school kids in March. Dates will be nailed down some time in November, they will all be held in Henderson NV.
I really hope this helps!

Where is this new club going to be located and who are the coaches? I would love to come check out any new facilities in the area. The vault scene in Vegas is growing slowly and the competition is getting a little tougher each year. It would be nice to see what the guys in N Vegas can put together.

I've never vaulted before but looks like something I'd like to try. Does your club coach beginners?
also how much does it cost to join? I just started high school and want to do pole vault in Track this spring.

It will be located at lone mountain and cimarron near leavitt middle school. My name is Anthony Waddle and the other coach is Shannon Hammon we both vaulted at Centennial high school, we will also be incorporating gymnastics coaching in our training probably at open gym at gym cats. It's still a work in progress but it looks like we will be up and running around october. Send me an e-mail and i can keep you posted as well as anyone else interested.
Thank you!

The club is perfect for beginners andwhere from 10 to 18 year olds can participate, most involved have only vaulted one year before, but it is a very committed sport and it takes a lot of hard work. But ask any pole vaulter once you start you're hooked!!!!! The cost will be around 90-100 a month. Which will include some private coaching. Send me an e-mail address and i can keep you posted. I will be putting up a website soon
thank you
