Hi everyone!
My name is Jacqui and I am a vaulter at Hopkinton High School. This coming April, our track team manager, Alexandra, and I are holding a benefit pole vault meet to make our track better.

Hopkinton High School track team has had a long winning tradition. We gradually built up our program and the girls team finally won it's first state championship Spring 2007. Want to know what we train on? A 300m gravel track. Our long jump and triple jump pits also have a gravel runway. Pole vault pit? WHAT pole vault pit? We travel to nearby schools to vault! Almost everything our school does for training is at another school or we hold it indoors and do drills instead.

As you can see, we really need a new track! This event is kick-starting our "Build-A-Track" fund. I really hope you choose to support us!

The meet will be an all-comers meet; no qualifying heights, no age-limits. The meet will start at 11 am and be held at Memorial Field in Concord, NH.

The format is a little tricky. We are expecting lots of vaulters at lower heights so we will have two runways open for the first few heights so as to get through these vaulters quicker. Once we get through a large chunk of the vaulters, one pit will stay on it's progression and the other pit will jump up to the much higher heights.

Pre-registration starts soon. Well.... As soon as I make registration forms. Cost for pre-registration will be $10 to vault and it must be post-marked by April 20th. All registrations after that date will have to be done in person the day of the meet and cost raises to $15.

Hope to see you there!
