Yea. The Michigan State Journal of Entertainment & Sports Law is publishing that article. The Journal has really dragged its feet. Jim and I finished writing it in the summer of 2006. We are anxious to have them get it published.

If you are not aware, Jim Bemiller, my co-author, is a professor at the University of Tennessee. Like me, he teaches Sports Law, but in the graduate and undergraduate school (not at the U.T. Law School). Before entering academics, Jim was a practicing lawyer, specializing in complex tort litigation. Oh yea, Jim was a 16-foot-plus pole vaulter at Miami of Ohio (Conference Champion) and also coaches Tim Mack and used to coach Lawrence Johnson. So between the two of us, we've had a good deal of experience in law and the pole vault (both in terms of theory and in terms of practice).
