Payton Jordon US Open

Unread postby StanVaultCoach » Thu May 19, 2005 2:20 am

Just though I would do some publicity for one of the meets we hold at Stanford.

The Payton Jordon US Open is on Memorial Day May 30th and will feature one of the best line ups in the mens vault.

1. Tim Mack
2. Toby Stevenson
3. Dimitri Markov
4. Jeff Hartwig
5. Nick Hysong
6. Russ Buller
7. Brad Walker
8. Tye Harvey

If you live anywhere near Palo Alto, CA or want to take a mini vacation, this would be a great meet to go and see some of the best in the world vault.

More info on the meet can be found at www.gostanford.com

Can someone video tape it? I'd be willing to buy a copy, or something...

The meet will be televised on ESPN. Obviously not every vault will be shown. I will look into video taping it.

I can video tape it, but it might take me a while to figure out how to send it to people, but if you send me your email I'll email you whatever I get. Last year they assigned me some job on the field so i was really close to the vaulters that woudl be a good place to videotape from but usually I'm pretty close to the pit anyway, either from the side or from the back... which angle do you guys like better?

Saturday afternoon thru Tuesday. No vaulting. Just rehydrating on EB's special beverage.
