No Diamond League MPV in the US

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Fri Nov 18, 2011 9:35 am

Diamond League schedule is out, both NYC and Prefontaine will be WPV. Not surprising given the level of performance of our women versus our men, but disappointing nonetheless. The meets have the option of staging a MPV as a non-DL event, but I doubt either meet will.

It's going to be a tough year for the male US pole vaulters to get good competitions. I wouldn't be surprised if they get shut out of the Visa series indoors as well.

So, we've officially hit the point where US vaulters can make more money on welfare than by winning every paying meet on US soil.
"You have some interesting coaching theories that seem to have little potential."
