this is really interesting cause there are a ton of people who have shown they can go 5.80/4.60, but consistancy at those levels is gonna help a lot..

if I remember correctly (and I may not be...) I don't think toby had ever jumped 5.80 before the indoor season of 2004... can anyone verify?

I think your right Lax in that his PR before 2004 was below 5.80!! Its all a matter of who prepares for the 2008 season the best...

My picks are based on who seems to be on a roll going into Nationals, though i am probably going to edit my post eventually after this season is over...

Also something that will play a major role is injuries and who can stay healthy! That is one of the most influential factors in the elite level competition. SO we will see how it all plays out, but I am just hoping we can have another great representation from the USA in 2008!! :)

Hey Bethel, no editing, just leave it, and in about a year, were gonna see who was right..

haha, but yea, injuries will play a roll, like right now b/c Tim is out, no one really knows how he's gonna come back. I wanna see US do better this time around, 1-2-3 would be nice...

You're right. They did quite HORRIBLY at the last Games, didn't they?

Shame on you Mack and Stevenson. Or should we put the blame all on Miles?

(Obviously, I'm not being serious. ;) )
