that babits dude is the real deal. he is like 42. i jumped against him a few times indoors this year and he was trying for earl bell's world age group record of 17' babits actually had a few decent attempts at 520 at the alex wilson invite. he is scary fast and strong and is on monster poles for being 42

Even though it has me at 4th, I actually tied for second place on misses...whoot!

That runway at IU is hella fast and we had a nice, gentle tail wind. I was under everytime except for my last attempt when I backed up my step a foot and half...I then proceeded to blow out my pole. :no:

I think Babits had to back his step up 2 whole feet.

That track is layed out so you can sometimes get a tail wind all the way around the track..........so any old runway will do.
