News and Announcements

I am moving my club, sTs Athletics to Clermont, Florida to the National Training Center (www.usat-ntc.com) a World Class facility, adjacent Hammer area included. Clermont is 30 minutes west of Orlando on Hwy 50 and the Florida Turnpike. There is affordable housing and Jobs (lowest unemployment rate in Florida).

I will be coaching daily and conducting clinics on a regular basis. I will be coaching most of the field events with an emphasis on the Pole Vault and Decathlon/Heptathlon. We are in the process of establishing the World Pole Vault Center and will be conducting filmed biomechanical research along with speed and strength data collection.

Dennis Mitchell, US multi gold medalist and sprint/speed/relay specialist works from the Center and is a great resource for anyone wanting to get faster.

Eight Universities have already signed up to train here during this spring break, March 15 to 30. Speed, Relay and Field Event “miniâ€Â

Spring Break Plans

sTs Athletics/World Pole Vault Center

Our plans are to do some morning sessions... $35.00 for a one time one-on-one session..

If we have so many athletes that individual sessions are impossible some weeks….

we will do... 3 clinic type sessions per week with a small (5/6 person) group for $60.00 for the week per person...

i will be at the facility 6 days a week..including sunday.. my club members generally train tue/thur 3:00-6:00pm and Sunday in different groupings… 2 hour sessions 12:30 - 2:30 / 2:30- 4:30 / 4:30 - 6:30

saturdays are for meets or special sessions.......

we have several colleges training in march and april and i am scheduling their sessions as we speak...

i will try and include everyone.. at some time of the day.. we will have 2/3 pits..

keep e-mailing and calling..

i am flexible and want everyone to have great vault experiences......

Questions:
1) How close are you to Disney World?
2) What do you do with old/slow/out of shape/short people?
and most importantly,
3) Is beer allowed in the facility? How about next to the runway?
