Does this answer your question, "Did he make that 16' vault on a CarbonFX?".

16' is 16', but I just have to say that the bar wouldn't have stayed with the new 2" pegs. The pegs at the CA state meet were the older, longer pegs. He still left it up though.

The pegs are a college, USATF, IAAF rule. It does NOT apply to high school meets. Now if your school hosts USATF meets in the summer...........just put the long ones back in for your actual season.

I helped run the CA stat meet and he put some heat on 16, even with the new 2" pegs, he defenitely would have made it, he would have set a National Freshman Record if he didnt come in so low. I think he was on his , 10, 11, 12 jumps of the day at 16 4. Look out for this kid as he grows and matures. And as for the age thing, i talked to him a little bit, hes defenitely a freshman.!

Does that mean that the JO meets will be on the new pegs?
