CAMPS OR CLINCS HELD IN CENTRAL CA?

Unread postby countrysidegirl » Thu Nov 06, 2008 1:02 pm

Does anyone know of any regular camps or clinics for Pole Vaulters that are held in central California? They have them in Southern CA but that's too much of a drive. So was curious if anyone had something closer. Any information anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Now I really have a dilemma on my hands...Mt Sac, UCLA, or this one...

We live near Modesto. I also had heard that they do vaulting in Livermore, CA. I wonder if this is Granada HS? Because we attended an invitational there last year and had two vault pits.

Depends on what you are looking for. However if you want a clearer understanding of the Petrov model and the drills you need to use to begin to learn that model I suggest you come to Cal Poly. However if you are happy with your technique and dont want to change, dont come to Cal Poly! ;)

Ah well I do the swing leg like in the Petrov, but end up tucking even though I try not to.
