EHS Boosters Club brings back pole vault

The Eureka High Boosters Club has brought a long-overdue treat back for prep track and field athletes at EHS — a pole vault pit.

For several years, the Humboldt-Del Norte Conference did not compete in the pole vault at Albee Stadium because the pit was not up to code with the regulation changes in the event in 2001.

Thanks to the Boosters Club, however, the pole vault pit has been brought back up-to-date, and was put to use for the first time in a long time on Wednesday.
