surfing at winter camp

Winter camp we dawn patrol each morning. The conditions are better at that time of day, and it allows us more of the warm portion of the day for vaulting.
Winter can be big, and serious, around here!!! :dazed:
Here's a photo of MP and KCL and Eric B from U. Az. at the rock this morning. Head high plus a foot or so
Our first good sized swell of the fall! Its gonna be good this winter :)

I've been running camps so long I can't remember when I waz'nt doin them. :dazed:
The true measure of hosting a good camp is how much fun they are. :)
You can be the greatest coach in HISTORY.... but if it aint no fun.... people aint gonna come to your camp. :(
I think too many coaches take the fun out of track and field by over-anazlying, and over regimenting. :P For my money, a little of that goes a long way. :D
See ya!

glad you got better

Hey pvaultingirl.... :rose:
I'm glad you improved at our k-town camp. As I have said many times in the past, the NE has the largest group of undeveloped vaulters the country. The combination of a short indoor season, and a rainy outdoor season makes it so tough for you all to get to the maximum of your potential. For over 20years I have gone to K-town and seen soooo many talented kids who would be jumping a foot higher in other parts of the country.
Keep up the good work and keep doing the drill system.
Thanks! :)
