So that 6'7" Sr. that I was looking for the size 17 spikes for jumped 11'6 in his first scored meet. He has never done a sport in HS. Second time jumping at a bar and 6 practices. He running from 4 lefts and pushing the pole and is gripping about 13'6" on a 14'3" 175 he wieghs 170. He will sometimes take of a 1' to 1'6" out and easily move that pole past vert. I never seen anything like it. I Just hope he can jump high enough in his first year to give it a shot in college.

BYU - Idaho? They don't really have a track program. No vaulting as far as I know.

he was not considering vaulting I asked him like two days into practice. I think western would be a good fit. He seems to really like vaulting his little sister always has to drag him from practice.

Oh yeah, I bet Western would let a kid like that walk-on!
