When I began vaulting as a master 4 years ago, I thought it might just be possible for me to jump as high as I did in HS in 1964 (13'4.5"). My thinking was the pros and cons would kind of balance out.
Pros - better equipment; knowledgable coaching; an open mind that would study and learn the vault
Cons - less speed; less strength; more prone to injury
I'm sure there are more but my forgetful mind has lost them at the moment.

Yes, I am going to NC and I look forward to meeting in person the people I have met on PVP.

Being back the first year that is my thinking also... I am grateful for the support of those who have been there, .... My first clearence in my first meet got my adrenline going again and took my mind back to '64...with a 60 yr old body..... doesn't mix.... been off my leg for a week now and it's much better..... hoping to be able to jump again soon...keep up the good work and thanx for sharing will look forward to a sit down at NC

That would be great. There usually aren't very many spectators at these events. You could probably get a front row seat, if not out on the track.

haha A and T normally never lets people on the field, even the competetors, but yeah i normally get a pretty good seat cause they have a huge stadium and the finish line is on the other side, so unless people are watching the polevault, everyone is on the otherside leaving plenty of space around. haha but im glad that someone is excited about me coming to watch, haha though im sure you don't get many spectators.
