My Coach Needs a Pole in Hawaii

One of my high school coaches, Rod Wilcox, is signed up for the pole vault in Hawaii (M35-39). He was planning on taking poles down with another masters vaulter, but that fell through, and now he is stuck needing to borrow a pole.

I've been coaching him this summer and his vaulting is really starting to come around.

Right now he is on a 14'150 and 14'160. He only grips about 12'6", so he could alternatively use something in the 13'6" 160-170 range, or 13' 170-180 range.

If anyone is planning on having any poles like that with them, let me know and I will pass on the message to him.

I will have poles there, but nothing in the range you mentioned, sorry...

Let him know that his entry is still not complete, I happened to be looking on the USATF site for status of my entry and it listed him as needing more info, they probably need him to fax proof of age....

the site is here:

Those are the poles I would have brought. Too bad I'm not in good enough shape to go to a big competition (and see Spencer, to boot).

I'm looking to sell a 13' 7" 176 lbs. carbon, and a 14' 1" 176 lbs. carbon, if he would be interested in buying any poles. email jhesch@unm.edu if interested
