Congratulations to Matti, who cleared 3.51m at Eastern Michigan Invitational Saturday Jan 8 to set a new Indoor World pole vault record for Men 65-69. After rattling the bar at 3.4 m he had good air around the bar at his jump for the new record. And, thanks to EMU for adding a masters vault after the collegiate men and women's groups for those of us who can't hit the typical 13' of so starting heights of most collegiate meets.

I think John Altendorf turns 65 in about a month or so. Probably 13' or 4m will be his first order of business. In our division we get everything we can until Gary Hunter hits our age - just happened. Congrats and good luck to all. Bubba
