Unread postby jomrus » Sun Feb 29, 2004 12:34 pm

Anybody else notice that Lanaro's mark got taken off the NCAA list for D1? Maybe it was just a mistake or something...

i went to CSF's website and didn't see anything about Geovani jumping 18' this year. Maybe it was at an outdoor all comer meet or something. He is in So-Cal. Or maybe it just didn't happen. But as far as i can tell it not counting on the indoor lists.

I can vouch for the fact that he did jump 18 this year because i was at the meet that he did it at jumping against him. He was jumping really well, and man, that guy has one hell of a takeoff, but anyway, I was there to see him do it, so i'm just as curious as the rest of you as to why it is not up there.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

That is weird... I was going to suggest maybe his coaches screwed up the paperwork, but if it was on there earlier then that is probably not it.
