MSU Newcomer Named SLC Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week
He just missed a new pr at teh summit, see good things do happen at this thing, I wish the ncaa would approve it!!
His PR is 16'9"
Ryan Lancon, a newcomer to the McNeese State track and field program, has been named the Southland Conference's male indoor track and field athlete of
the week.

Lancon, a native of Hurst, TX and a transfer from North Texas, was honored for his school record setting pole vault at the Las Vegas pole vault summit a week and a half ago. In that meet he went 16-9 for a new school record and he also finished third in his division.

The Cowboy standout broke the old McNeese indoor pole vault record of 16-0 that had been set by Mark Fisher in 1985.

Congrats I know you will go higher once you get on stiffer stick.
I was impressed when I saw your vaults on film at your Dad's place.
