Spencer Stephens is at 17' 9.75", so he's a little higher on the list than mentioned. He is vaulting once or twice a week this year though. His school has no pit :crying: and he has only made it up to practice with us about 5 or 6 times in each of the last few years :crying: . His only other opportunities to practice have been during meets, so I try to be at all I can for him. He's out of indoor seasons, but has one last outdoors. He is an extraordinary athlete with out of this world body awareness.

Trey Bell of South Carolina described him best, he said "Spencer is a freak of nature." :dazed:

All things considered he has a great attitude about the lack of equipment and wants to go where he can develop his skills after the season. I'm hoping he'll go out in a big way this year.

About Jeremy Scott, I understand he has an outdoor season of Div 1 eligibility. If that's the case, Good for Jeremy! He's a super vaulter and individual.

i jumped with Spencer twice last year and he was super cool, and one of my favorites. when i was a junior in HS i went to Nationals in Buffalo and he attraced all the attention to the vault with his amazing aerial gymnastics.

From what he told me, he will be a Razorback for his last outdoor season. His hamstring has hindered him from doing alot, so he figures the best way for him to get ready for trials was against the DI guys. So, unless he ends up having a really good indoor and skip it, he will break alot of DI hearts. LON

Wow it's a shame that Brad only has indoor and Jeremy only has outdoor! :dazed:
