HI Jennifer,
Most poles that are not really long would be suitable for high school jumpers. You might have short, tall, fast, slow, heavy, light, experience, and beginner vaulters. So, I feel that any pole that is solid, could be appropriate for some high school kid. It is good to have a variety of poles to match the variety of kids you will be coaching. I used to coach high school track and field for 5 years, so I am speaking from experience. Anyway, I have 6 poles that I have listed on this web site under the post titled, " A Variety of Pole Vaulting Poles for Sale". These poles are older, from the early 1990s. They are all safe, solid, and functional, but they just do not have the pretty tape and flashy colors poles today have.
I will sell them all for $250. I am 47 and I do not jump that much anymore. I will list them again for you in my reply.
