What brands are your current poles?

They are Altius.

The 10'8" 100lb has a flex of 11.1
The 10' has no flex number on it.

I recommend trying to fill the gap with another Altius pole. In those really short poles, the brands vary a lot. I don't have much experience with tiny Altius poles, but I know the 10'8 Spirit poles are VERY stiff (relative to other brands) so I would stay away from those (in that size) when trying to fill a gap.

Thanks for the heads up!

Any feel for the stiffness of the Mystic (is that Gill or Pacer)? They make a 10'6" 100 but it may be as stiff as the 10'8" Altius.
