I'm looking for some heavier poles in that range.
I'm currently vaulting on a 15' 175 17.5 that my parents bought me.
I only weigh 163lbs but am able to role that big pole in some cold weather. Just trying to find some poles in the Ohio area that i could potentially borrow when the weather gets better. Looking for Carbon FX's specifically, but beggers can't be choosers.

I heard that the weather doesn't affect the pole, but thats just waht I heard. I've heard both ways though.

I think he might be saying that the cold weather affected him not the pole.

They say it doesn't, but ask a materials engineer and i think they might have something to say about that statement. The mental aspect is definitely there. Also at the end of the season, my run will be faster and my technique will become tuned for my vault.

I AM A MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENT. TEMPERATURE AFFECTS EVERYTHING. I PROMISE YOU. The degree in which it affects may be minimal, but with carbon, i believe there is a noticable difference. If you really dont believe me, go put one of your smaller poles (but one youd still normally warm up with for any particular run) in a meatlocker for about an hour, and then take a jump on it. ill bet u break it.

Now why would i want to break a perfectly good pole?

Got any poles that you would be able to sell a high school junior?

My poles don't like the cold, there too skinny. They also like being talked too, but my shrink doesn't believe me

You mean we're not supposed to talk to them?
