Joe Dial's pole vault video
i just got done watching Joe Dial's new pole vaulting video and it was really good and funny if you know coach Dial personally it shows him in high school and grade by grade (8th-12th) showing the viewer how he was the first 18 ft pole vaulter in high school also some funny experiments that him and his dad did back in the day so if anyone is interested in purchasing a video from him e mail him at jdial@oru.edu

This video of Joe would be incredible for coaches, vaulters and fans because it shows a progression from 8th to 12th grade from 1978-1982. If I recall, when Joe jumped 18'0" the world record was 19'0 1/4/" (Vigneron). During that time also Greg Duplantis and Dale Jenkins were close to 18 feet.
