HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE RECEIVING CONTRIBUTIONS/DONATIONS

Anyone know if there's any type of ruling on a high school athletes who receive contribution/donations from businesses or individuals for equipment and travel?

according to the NFHS they say it is up to the individual state associations.

BUt when in college it is a very touchy subject.

Just form a a USATF club and all donations go to the club but it pays for your equipment/travel. Easy enough.

Im pretty sure that is illegal still, but it aint illegal unless u get caught.

Has anyone in high school received donations/contributions on a individual basis. My coach says its ok!

Sounds like a good way to make yourself ineligible for colllegiate competition.
