Lake Hamilton Tri-Lakes Invite

In his first outdoor meet of the season, Andrew Irwin jumped 17'06.5". He made both 17'01" and 17'06.5" on his first attempt and had one really good look at 17'09.25". Next up......New Balance Indoor Nats in New York City.

What size and length pole is this young man "flying" on ??

He made his bars on a 16'1" Altius Carbon Extreme 17.5 flex, gripping 15'07". Took some jumps for the first time on a 16.5 flex at 17'09.25" and had one really good attempt.

Those are pretty big poles for a High School Vaulter - How tall is Andrew ?

He's 6'3" and weighed in at 163 lbs. at our state indoor meet a few weeks ago.
