Re: Video Review Plz!
The first video is really the only useful. Video 2 is a bad angle and video 3 doesn't show the takeoff. In video one, your vaulter appears to lunge into the last step which is making him be too close to the box at takeoff and hindering his ability to jump up, so his takeoff is flat. A better final s...

Re: Help me get on a bigger pole
I think you'll find that things will improve a lot if you can get your eyes to not be locked on the bar the entire jump. Your swing has no chance of continuing to the inverted position because in order to do so, your shoulders must go down. Staring at the bar is causing your shoulders to never go do...

Re: Help Me.
I would assume she already does plenty of high bar work, correct? We've had success doing running takeoffs and jumping on to a high bar. Emphasizing the takeoff only to start and then introducing swinging elements one by one. What about short approach jumps? Can she execute a proper takeoff as you h...

Re: Video Review: Male HS vaulter going 13' 6"
His plant is late. A taller plant and jumping up and through the pole with his hands should help him easily get on the bigger pole and go a long way toward fixing the swing issues. Most swing issues are rooted in the plant and takeoff and that is where I would spend time working.

Looking for UCS 15' 170 and 175
Located in Michigan. I'm in need of a UCS 15' 175 with a flex around 17.0. Would also be interested in a 170 depending on flex (18.0-18.2). Thanks.

Re: New pole-getting it to bend?
He's likely just taken way too much of an increase between poles. If your athlete holds the 14'6 165 pole at the same 13'6 location that he held on his pole last year, it would roughly have the same relative stiff as using a 13'6 185. Not surprising that he is getting very little bend since the stif...

Sorry I wasn't able to make it out there Alan to join you all, but I heard from a few athletes that it was a great camp! Appreciate you coming to Michigan, even if I wasn't able to take advantage of it.

Sam Kendricks is still in college, thus can not endorse anything or have any sort of contract and retain is eligibility. NCAA for the win!
