Re: Box Collar Choices
The trash bag method is the best way to remove water from the box. It is fast and it allows you to move the water as far away from the pit area as you want. I did a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating how to do it a few years ago. Just search for "removing water from a pole vault box the eas...

The X's and O's in the original post are incomplete. There is a second page. Walsh had more misses early but cleared 5.35 on his first attempt. King cleared 5.35 on his third attempt. Here is the link to the results. http://branchsportstech.com/2014_Meets/outdoor/07-05-usatf/Result-Vert.php?EN=34&am...

Re: Pole vault standards in Michigan
Somebody has to say it. . . . You spend a fair amount of your time on here bashing pole vaulting in the USA and then have a hissy fit when no one lines up to kiss your ring. As a guy from the place where they DO say "c'est la vie" recently showed, pole vaulting is more than Bubka, you or y...

UCS Pit and Standards in Lexington KY
Saw this on Craigslist this morning. http://lexington.craigslist.org/spo/4014902539.html I talked to the guy and it sounds like there may be a top cover but that the pit isn't high school legal. He said it came from the Univ. of Kentucky. The 2 poles referenced are actually standards, not poles.
