We talked to them they said to wait about 2 weeks to let them try to inflate and Mike said he would come and inspect it if we had any doubts about the safety of the pit.

I know that most manufacturers vacume down their pits so they are easier to ship. I just became a coach at a nearby high school and when the AD was describing their equipment to me it seemed that he was saying that the pit was still vacumed down and had been in storage for atleast a year. It also wouldnt help if your training on it to go somewhere that has a regular runway. It would totally mess up your vaulters.
