your run needs to be a constant acceleration. think of your feet and drums. every time your foot steps, you hear a beat. the beat gets faster and faster as you accelerate. try doing that and running through, not even planting. after doing that for a few runs, then try planting and see if you can kee...

try exaggerated runs.

they are simmilar to power skips, but insted of landing on each foot twice, you just run and really exaggerate the drive knee pushing forewared/up and the trail leg pushing back/down.

that really helped me drive better and also to run faster and with more power.
