I was on the outer pit last year, it wasn't so much the floating box plug where my 2nd step landed... The floating "sinking" box when you step on it might be a factor if the vaulters step on it this week. Great article!
Thanks for posting the article. I will let Mark know that it is online here. We wish him the best here at NCAA's, where I am responding from. Mark is like a part of our family. Camp entries going well
Camp entries are coming in daily, from many different states, so we expect to fill up fast. Our All-Star group of coaches seems to be a big draw and we are getting many calls and emails. Jaquon is the third guy from SC to do it in recent years. Mitch Greeley jumped 15' at 15 yrs old. And Chase Shealy jumped 15' 1" at 15 yrs, 16' 7" at 16 yrs and 17' 1" at 17 yrs. I think the all-time world best is probably Jacob Davis from Texas. Achtung and some others probably have his exact numbe...

It can be frustrating sometimes to post. There are others with great knowledge that refrain from posting due to the "little people", people who insist on taking stabs at you. Yes it is an open forum so people have the right to respond, even if it is petty or totally off track from the topic. I have ...

Comments as posted by BaggettPV, (Coach Rick Baggett) transfered from "Can Tommy S. go 19' 6" this year?" in the College section. This is a sampling of what we will be covering during the coaches only portion during the camp. Lets see: Presently holding at 5.05 (16'7") so 15' 11" in the box. He has ...
