The dude literally cracked his skull. Good thing it is a well known fact that chicks dig scars.

Dude, wtfisup, he said he was DESPERATE... i think that necessitates YELLING. You do have to be careful around here though, the wrath of the rainbow is always one cyber-block away.

In regards to the original post, I am well, thank you for asking. No idea about your random meet footage though.

Pan Am Men - Borges 5.80, Scott 5.60, Lanaro 3rd

So we haven't truly seen my main man LZ Borges in his comfortable climate and region yet on a big scene. Do you think LZB (the nickname he prefers) can crack the 6m barrier at Pan-Ams? There is no real indoor push for Cuba in 2012 I've heard, so I think he's still full on in 2011 training. Word is h...

Re: Skip the Small Poles?

If I'm not mistaken there was a 5.65m vaulter in the mid 80's named "Tom Hintenhaus", not sure if I got the spelling right, who would vault at his PR heights with the standards set on "0". Not sure if this is true or not, just heard a story about it from a Finnish friend of mine ...

Re: Elite Level Pole Vault, Throws and Track

Derek jumped 5.40m in college. How many of our 5.40m guys are willing to get a side job, struggle with poverty, and continue to train? How many 5.40m guys at 23 in Europe are willing to take $30K+ from their club and continue training? Say 1 out of 5 guys in the USA would do it, and 4 out of 5 guys ...

Re: Rieti - Borges 5.81

Definitely 5m poles. I think LB could straight-pole with 475 grip. Especially from 20 strides. Let's be realistic. - On Tap

Re: Daegu Wild Card: Lázaro Borges

http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h426/pvstorm84/photo3.jpg The blue bag next to Liz-a-by-baby-in-the-tree-top's sleeping head is Borges' bag. This is an image from that meet in Jock Grim. Osenberg's runway did him right that day, even if he only had 4 poles in an unprotected bag! All of the labe...

Brandon "B" Estrada in the News

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz4z7hOR ... ata_player

I wasn't aware Brandon was fluent in spanish. Can you imagine seeing an American pole vaulter on a tv commercial?! I can only assume Estrada is the Brady Quinn of Puerto Rico. Either way, it's good to see B in the news.

Re: Could Gataullin have put more energy into the system??

Mack jumped 6.01 running 9.30 m/s... And would have made 6.05-6.10 on that jump with long pegs and square ends. Sergei jumped 6.15 running 9.95-10.00 m/s... Everyone who was around says gataullin should have jumped 6.10 or so while running around 9.85-9.90 m/s if it wasn't for injuries and a short c...

Re: Skip the Small Poles?

AirStryke.... I have watched this forum for years and never had the urge to respond to anybody until now. First of all, I understand what you're saying, and I agree with you because (to some extent) you're right, but this method is unsafe and should not be used until the vaulter has extreme experien...
