Veddy veddy interesteing - girls beat the boys in MA

An odd event happened at the Massachusetts state meet last weekend - Anna McFarlane of Concord-Carlisle won the girls vault with a 1st attempt clearance of 13'0. Meanwhile Thomas Simmons of New Bedford won the boys vault with a 2nd attempt clearance of 13'0. This means that unofficially Anna McFarla...

Found some articles in Russian and German on the web regarding this past weekend's World Championships. Since I can't speak a word in either of these languages I tried the altavista translation service (http://www.altavista.com/) and here's what it spit out - great stuff ----- Svetlana Feofanova est...

DIII Gals Predicitions

This is gonnq be a wild one. Last year's indoor and outdoor champ, Kelly Bowen of Nebraska Wesleyan transfered to the University of Nebraska (DI) . 4 time champ Laura Rosenberger from Eastern Mennonite doesn't seem to have found her form this year after a disappointing 2nd indoors and an uncharacter...

Ridiculous

After looking at the NCAA lists they have indeed rejected all marks for DI and DII athletes but it looks as if the DIII athletes WERE allowed to submit their Reno marks (Jeremy Scott, Enrique Abundiz, Matt Sheehan & Keenan King). The idea to not allow marks is stupidity phase one. To then allow DIII...

Just got my plane tickets - can't wait for the 4000+ mile Hartford to Reno trip (with 2 changes in Columbus and Phoenix). I've signed up for the masters division but I might just be a spectator this year. I think I'm in better shape for blackjack than for jumping :-) Perhaps we should organize some ...
