At the camp, we put in the "break of hips" or "locking the hips" into a drill. We were just swinging, in a good take off form. a couple cadiences, and then WAM! swing up and go. Well, this kid from BYU (really nice guy. :yes: ) Did just that, locked the hips, and SWOOSH! He had so much more energy ...
hah id love a grip it and rip it.. its from the movie zoolander.. hansel says it somewhere in there im almost positive.. ha.. o id actually take any of he pole vault ones too like ipolevualt or polevaulters 4 life. all would kick arse..

hipathletics.com and verticalassault.org. ive jumped at hip athletics adn i like it there, they have poles at that place that u can use and such a good pole selection. ive never been to vertical assault but the coach seems cool adn they always have a bunch of vaulters at my meets
what are some ways to convince my coach to take us to reno?. theres maybe like 6 vaulters at my school and im pretty sure at least 3 of them would go. how much do u think we would have to pay and stuff?,.

hmm i think i read somewhere that its better to have shoes that have a flat bottom for lifting. i think like the indoor soccer shoes are good. iunno wat im talkin about and im prob completely wrong but iunno?. and yea def need new shoes heh.
