Shipping poles

I need to ship poles. Southwest airlines used to be a good choice, but they are now telling me their max length is 161" (about 13 1/2 feet). Anyone know a reasonably prices option to ship one pole?

If you can, avoid using FedEx Freight at all costs. Because Fly Away Poles is essentially out of business and we couldn't get on a southwest flight, ... What companies do you vaulters use to ship poles to competitions sites like The Armory in NYC? Most times we can fly with our poles and strap them to whatever rental cars we get, but some places a rental car causes more trouble than it is worth. ...

Can anyone recommend a way to ship poles? I need to get two poles from GA to PA. I am pretty sure you can't use Fed Ex or UPS. I have heard about using a freight shipping company called DBshanker, I think that is who MF athletic uses. Any other suggestions?
