maybe the pole was old and sat in the sun for awhile? usually mis calculating the weight isnt an issue. i am only 5 8 and 125lbs and im on a 14 155 ucs spirit.

I currently use a 14' 150lb ucs spirt. i also had a 14' 145 pacer lll. i could not get in on the 14 145lb pacer. i am getting plently of penetration with this ucs spirit. maybe its the feel? maybe its in my head? im not sure but to me spirits are the way to...

is there anything specific that isnt on that site? like do i wear tights or shorts or what not? im new to this so just wanting some advice from people who have went a couple times

a pole vault pole is only around 300-500 dollars. Im sure your family or your coach could get you one. It will take a long time to develop the right teqnique on a small pole that your mashing through. my advice would be to get a 13 160 or a 13 6 155. Then gradually move up to the 14s. the 14 ft pole...

If you are a normal Pole vaulter, you are in the range of 5 9 - 6 3. weighing 149lbs, blowing through a 160. To have a reasonable pole to move up to, id say buy a 13 155 or 13 160, the get a 13 6 155 if you do not already have those.
