Vault practice

How should I divide up my vault practices. I usually take 3 to 5 four left vaults then vault from seven for the rest of the practice. Should I spend more time on short runs ( like whole practices at a time). I usually vault twice a week and maybe 3 times in the spring

i bought 2 12' long 4x6s and dug a hole about 3 or 4 feet deep with a post hole digger then just bought a steel bar and some mounts. cost somethin like 60$. didnt use cement or anything and its real sturdy and took maybe an hour to build

sometimes fruit, sometimes granola bars or cliff bars. my coach swears by taking a spoon of honey right before you jump as a sort of energy shot

thanks. im going to hold off on the rag drill just because i already have some issues with looking down at the box and that would probably just make it worse. my 7 step has moved in almost 3 feet since last year (because i used to over stride) it probably does need to go out some so ill inch it back...

getting my step out is my next point interest but do you have any suggestions for an easier way to get this done besides just moving my step out. ive gotten pretty good with my step on short runs with lower grips but when i try to move it out on longer runs i tend to just open up my strides to make ...

I made this post back when my personal best was 13', and when i was struggling to hit it consistantly. I have greatly improved since then and have had good looks at 14' from a 5 step (went back to a 3 and have been working my way back since then). I still have many things to work on and look forward...
