Re: NAPVA

I made reference to the mysterious NAPVA (North American Pole Vault Association for those of you not aware of all the pole vault lingo) in this post... I was mostly joking about its top secret nature there, but it reminded me that I really don't know much about it. Nothing really secret about NAPVA...

Semper Paratus The motto of U ncle S am's C onfused G roup! ;) Actually, having been a civilian member of the NSF when it was first developed and a long time consultant to the Atlantic Strike Team, I hold the CG in much higher regard than most. I've also had the pleasure to hear some hair raising t...

RE: Mullets

Mullets are fun to make fun of til they kick your a**. :dazed: Mullet hunting is a dangerous profession  I'm one of those people who rarely think before giving in to an impulse. While this has made life interesting, it has also lead to a few confrontations that my family would rather not talk...

It was stated several times in several posts! You need to look back a page to see that one. By the way, the 2 moderators of this part of the board work for the largest maker of track and field equiptment in the world and one is an engineer and the other is a vaulter of 21+ years. I read your posts ...

Re: gimme poles!!!!!!!!!!

Brad,

Talk to Earl! Also, are you going to Mt. SAC? Drake Relays? Speak to the manufacturers reps. when you're there.

You're not the only one looking for free/discount poles though! ;)

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the feedback, but in my defense the women got some quality exposure. No defense is necessary Neo. The DVD rocks and I'm sorry you felt compelled to post a "rebuttal" to my comment. Best PV coverage I've ever seen, men OR women! Keep up the good work and I'll be w...

Re: What a cheap break.

I know there is no garauntee on poles but I got ripped off. That really bites. Only thing I can think of to offer some solace is to check with your credit card company if you recently purchased this pole. Sometimes the CC company will warrant purchases against breakage or loss from ANY cause for a ...

Re: Flying Daisy Dukes

Stephanie's Dad, The Flying Daisy Dukes were at Clovis two years ago. Spidey was there last year. The dude making the DVD probably was there at one but not the other. Oh, I know. That's what the wink was for. :D Still, the DVD can only be improved by showing more of the distaff side of the sport.

I am thinking of having that be a fundraising thing... like for 20 bucks a year you get email forwarding... something to help pay the website bills. Would anybody be interested in that? Becca honey, I've told you before to just setup a Paypal account and you might be surprised at the outright donat...
