well just to let everyone know i p'r'd by a bit on my ol pole, got 12'6" on my 12'6" then today at practice i got out the 14 ran back a 7 step (never taken seven before) holding at 13'2" i'd say on my 155 14' ran planted tall flew and landed dead center of the mat, but i have day 2 of...

new pr at last meet of the year

Just three jumps of mine at the last regular meet of the year, i have districts in a week and state in a week after that. All the info is in the video. I set a new personal best from 11'6" to 12'1" with a goal pr of 13'6" this year so any help would be appreciated http://www.youtube.c...

So i should practice the run consistency off the pit and possibly move my mark back when i run with the 14? I know i have the physical ability to get on the 14 but i just need to continue making these small tweaks. These vaults were the first i have ever consciously not thrown my head back and tried...

practice on correcting my plant

So i Was practicing on not throwing my head back right when i plant to get a good drive. you can see the difference from the first vault. Bur any more advice on what i should work on?

i had three coaches there but none of them were a vault coach, also i did not intentionally swing the pole just got the best of me (first time ever trying it) there is not going to be a meet with anyone that has a 13' pole i can borrow either. (rural area) i will continue to try and improve my techn...

so i watched the video of me tryin to use the new pole, and i realized i had plenty of forward momentum until i swing my hips right past the pole. so i know at least for next time to try and stay behind the pole because i think that is what killed the vault

thats my problem, i have these three poles. nothing else not now not for the rest of the season, so what should i do in my circumstances? because i'm ready to go out there and hold 13'6" and run from 7 lefts and give it a try. here are some figures so you know kind of what im working with i am ...
