contact David Butler @ Rice University. He has a great video for beginning vaulters. It focuses on learning to steel vault first and then transferring those techniques to fiberglass vaulting. It also has alot of Bubka's vaults on there.

I used pilates in training and it has helped me alot. The combination of stretching and strengthing you get from doing pilates you can't get from weights or stretching alone.
