Some of you old timers may remember a vaulter from Michigan named Curt Geerlings. He jumped for East Kentwood HS, and then Central Michigan University. His career best was 17'6" back in 1982ish I believe. Curt passed away Tuesday night and his funeral is today.

Josh is a pole vaulter who recently graduated from Sparta, MI(near Grand Rapids). Josh was diagnosed with Leukemia the night of the Grand Haven Beach Vault and was hospitalized. ...
