Altius seems like he had a real "problem child" coach. I learned a long time ago when competing at the National level in archery and Rifle shooting to listen to what the "experts" had to say. You don't have to take everything that they have to say - but use what parts can fit you...

we use a big rubber bucket called a "muck bucket" - available at a local farm store - turned upside down between our top mat and the all weather cover. We try to place this bucket approx. centered in our mats. We had a problem just like yours and this corrected this problem - we have used ...

pole vault is quiet in Missouri ???

Man the pole vault scene in the Missouri area seems really slow on this forum - Am I the only one to notice this trend ? Come on pole vaulters step up and get this web site going, do it for our founder "Becca"

For proper information the Missouri state meet did NOT use an Inflated pole vault pit last year - we did use a Blazer pit for the pole vault which was constructed using the normal "foam" block technology. The company did have a small display setup at the athletes entrance showing how the i...

why so much garbage on this site ??

Anyone know "why" there is so much garbage on this site in the last 6 months. Seems like every week there is so much garbage posts - is ity me or are these getting out of hand ?

take a gas powered leaf blower to the mats - that will help eliminate dust in the short time until you can put a more lasting fix on these mats

"Landed on asphalt ??? Shouldnt that hard unforgiving surface have been covered ?? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen - What does your "AD" have to say about the facilities NOT meeting standards ?? -- And Im glad your not hurt too bad.

Looking at the photo that you supplied it looks as that you need a "box collar and a set of pads around the standard bases.
