I can also guess he may have been on UCS because Gill is not currently making any carbon poles so he may not have any smaller carbons to choose from.

Barber wasn't there because he was at the East Region Preliminary Round in Jacksonville to qualify for the NCAA Final. I don't think college athletes are allowed to enter into Diamond League meets while they're still in school.
