yeah its at the back, maybe it was the pole I was using(it was longer than the pole I'm use to, but the box sucked, the pit was great though, a little hard but great

Yeah dude Becca's right, one time I got a slight concussion because I landed in one of those cracks, my head snpped by and hit the concrete pad. I was only jumping eight feet there so it doesn't matter how good you are safety first ALWAYS.

My biggest problem right now is that I can't get fully inverted because I'm not sure how to drop my shoulders. I've been told that the best way to do this is at the end of the drive phase to snap your head all the way back, that doesn't work. So does any body have any suggestions or drills or someth...

Soft Side

If you jump with the soft side against you will it harm the pole, I have been for a while because if I jump with the soft side I crush the pole, and its the only pole I have.

dude my school is so pathetically set on football they won't buy anything for pole vault the poles I use are personal, and when I told them I was going to break the one I broke last week they practically laughed in my face, and said no.
